About Me:

My name is Andrea Jardine. I am an entrepreneur living in the Mountain West.. Idaho Falls, to be exact. I own a small printing company where my primary focus is helping artists grow their businesses. My background is in Graphic & Web Design, Marketing, Small Business Development, and of course, Art! I earned a Bachelor’s in Business from Idaho State University in 2015, focusing on Marketing. I grew up around artists, visiting many shows throughout my childhood. I have been building websites since before it was cool.. like 15 years or so. I have watched the trends change and grow into something extraordinary.

About 3 years ago I took a trip to Prince Edward Island, Canada to visit my parents who were serving an LDS Mission at the time. My mom ,who is a brilliant watercolor portrait artist, convinced me to sketch something with her instruction. To my amazement, it didn’t suck! It was actually a bit of an out-of-body type moment where I couldn’t believe that I actually sketched it. I sketched another, and another.. and I was hooked. How could I have made it well into my 30’s without knowing that I could art? I am now a baby working on my own art. And I firmly believe there are many more of us out there.. who do not yet know that we are artists. I hope to drag you kicking and screaming out of your artist closet 🙂

Why I love Artists:

Besides the fact that many of my loved ones happen to be artists, I seem to gravitate towards creative people.. and they seem to find me! It is remarkable to me how art can be used to communicate one’s authentic self. How we can communicate without words. I often find myself being more creative just by being around them.. we will talk much more about this later.

We are all in this together!

Something I see WAY too often in business is owners not communicating with each other. They avoid speaking for fear of their ideas being stolen.. their proprietary information being compromised. This is a BIG mistake. We all have something great to offer each other. We should be sharing ideas, helping each other through our creative struggles. The journey is where life happens and we all have something miraculous to offer each other, especially as artists. I invite everyone to commit to sharing, to sharing a piece of yourself here. Let’s take this journey together.

I love this Andrea! I’m so excited to be part of your group. I also love being your mom.
I have been doing this art thing now for 55 yrs. Being taught by my dad who was an artist,( miss ya dad). So it’s definitely in the family.
So hear’s my elevator pitch, “I capture meaningful memories of Life” I work with clients who want important events in their lives turned into a painting. Commissions are a challenge but I’ve decided that’s what I like about the process. It pushes me to be a better artist. That’s a big part of the goal for me.
I love to see the excitement of a client who has just received their new painting and the emotional connection they make with my work. It’s great to know I will leave something important after I die. Looking at my dad’s paintings (Stan Cramer) I see his influence in his art lives on and on. What a legacy. That’s what I hope to do with my art!

I’d love to hear more comments about why you’re an artist. It’s good to know why!

So glad you put this up, Andrea! Joining the FB group now.

PS Please don't judge me by my twinky website. Self-created years ago and not updated… 😀
